A type Jadeite beads?

Postby smrice » Fri Jul 16, 2010 6:19 pm

I can see the "wings of a fly" in each bead. Several black spots can be found throughout the necklace. I can also see an occasional yellow inclusion in them, at 60X on my microscope, so they are insignificant to the naked eye. They have veins of deeper green throughout. The only problem I have is photographing them. It seems to be quite diffucult to capture their color and transluscence on a camera. See what you think.

Hi Friend,
Thanks for your question and sharing.
For your photo, you can try not use Photoflash when taking the photo of bead. Besides, your photo is out focus, so that can't see it clearly.
Actually, your bead color is very nice. If this bead is grade A, it is very expensive. Also is it coming with gold mounting? Can you show us the whole necklace?
Thanks,
Chris
